Greetings from Mangy Central!  ÔTis I, The MangyDog, back to entertain you fine folks with soliloquies on the world at large.  IŠve been hard at work re-designing the new MangyDog.com site . . . it promises to be fitfully bitchinŠ.  Look for it in the upcoming weeks, you wonŠt regret it!  WeŠll still have the great columns, along with some brand spankinŠ new ones, as well as an always-growing vault of sketch comedy that will entertain you in the months to come.  PLUS, weŠll be selling our own merchandise, including cool shirts and videos that you canŠt live without!  (All hyperbole aside, it really is gonna be pretty damn cool).

Anything interesting happen in the news lately?  Seems that things have been rather boring since the elec . . . OH YEAH!

†WhatŠs the deal with that recount?ÿ  †Can you believe that recount?ÿ  †You donŠt need a recount to understand that thereŠs a recount going on!ÿ  ENOUGH!  I am sick and tired of this recount, and I am ESPECIALLY sick and tired of all the bad recount jokes that have arrived because of this recount.  I hate it, and you donŠt need a  . . . never mind.

This is all just prolonged torture, anyway . . . the best we can hope for is that the whole ordeal drags on long enough so that whoever wins is president only for a coupla years.  It looks to me like Georgie DubyaŠs gonna win, but, of course, Dewey thought it was in the bag, too.

Speaking of lame ducks, I CANŠT WAIT FOR THANKSGIVING!  What a wonderful time of year, nothing but sports and meat, the two things I cherish most.  Oh, and, um, my family, and . . . never mind.

I have also noticed that more people are coming to the site . . . good for them!  Finally, the brutal winter has come, forcing people to stay home.  This plays right into my greedy little hands . . .
