Hola, mi amigos!  This is the MangyDog here, welcoming you back to the semi-legal semi-weekly that annoyed people for a good 6 months before our server exploded.  Now that we have installed a fancy new non-exploding server, hopefully we won't have these disruptions again . . . Good God, I hope so.

I also want to send a quick shout-out to my friend Sean, one of my best friends who I talked to for the first time in over a year just a coupla days.  He's a wonderful, wonderful friend, and he's doing great work with the Ijams Nature Center, and we should all be like him.  (Go ahead and on that link . . . it'll open up in a new window so you don't lose your place)

Anyhoo, I wanted to take some time to tell you what I want out of this site, because I think you fine folks can help me out. In the upcoming months, you can expect to find the following keen stuff here on MangyDog:

ˆ         More Mangy Movies.  Yep, original short videos, absolutely FREE.  Eventually, we're gonna compile them all and sell them for a small price (hey, I got a family to feed).  Do you have a short film that you would like to have screened here at MangyDog.com?  Just drop me a line, and who knows?  Maybe we can make your dreams come true at the same time we're working on ours.

ˆ         Mangy Music.  Living here in Nashville, I have access to all kinds of music.  I love playing music, and I would love to record, play, and produce.  If you have some demos, I'd love to hear them, and I would be happy to play some clips here on the site to generate interest for your music, and who knows?  Maybe ultimately, we can make a little bit o' money (Hey, I got a family to feed).

ˆ         Serialized novels.  Coming soon, a good friend of mine is working on a serialized novel that will be revised every semi-week.  Ultimately, we're gonna try and sell that, too (Hey, I got a family to feed).

ˆ         New columns.  Stay tuned for the return of our esteemed sex columnist Mistress O, as well as all-new columns dealing in everything from auto repair to butt steaks.

As you can see, the philosophy of MangyDog is simple:  I want to expose as many new and different viewpoints as is humanly possible.  I want MangyDog Semi-Weekly to be a forum for art, thought, and opinion.  Hopefully, regular visitors can be entertained and enlightened, and be a little bit more informed about the world.  That, and I want your money.
